The boiler serpentine tube is a common type of heat transfer component used in boilers. The raw materials used for these serpentine tubes vary a lot depending on the temperature range they’ll be working in.
For low-temperature section parts like superheaters and economizers, we usually use materials such as carbon steel, T1, or 15CrMo.
When it comes to high-temperature section components—like superheaters and reheaters—there are more options. You can go with 12Cr1MoV, or imported steels such as SA-213T22 (commonly called T22), SA-213T91 (known as T91), SA-213TP304H (referred to as TP304H), and SA213-TP347H (often shortened to TP347H).
